It was an excellent stay for the night, but when I requested checking out half an hour late they told me no and to wait outside because they wish to clean the room now. I left and no one even looked at my room the entire time I was stuck out in the heat. That was just bad customers service.

Around $110 a night using Priceline.

The owners are amazing!! Kind and accommodating and I can't say enough good things about them!! The cleaning staff is amazing as well, nice, super helpful as are all Oak Park staff, and they do a great job. Rooms are super clean. The rooms provided a comfy cozy temporary home as we prepared for Moving Day. The motel has just been renovated, with new floors, freshly painted rooms and more! Comfortable beds, TV with full cable, drawers and a closet to store luggage, clothing, toys...whatever you have with you. There is air conditioning and heating. There are microwaves and small refrigerators inside the rooms- super convenient, and WalMart is across the street, with Target, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants very very close by. The motel is right by the mountains offering a BEAUTIFUL view. I cannot give them enough praise!! You can stay a night or several, or stay and pay by the week. Reasonable rates. Completely free of crime and seedy elements, this is a motel you can feel 100% comfortable bringing your child(ren) to. Always plenty of parking. In a central part of the San Gabriel Valley, located technically in Monrovia right on the Duarte border. Need a reasonably priced motel for you or visiting relatives this holiday season? Stay at Oak Park Motel. They made us feel at home and we will always remember how kind and caring the staff was. A++++++. We would give them 100 stars if possible!

Great accessibility from parking spaces. Clean and recently updated. Tile floors, no carpet. Attentive housekeeping. Flat screen tv, microwave and mini fridge were convenient. Pillows are a little stiff and hard to get used too... maybe bring your own pillow. Overall would totally come back again, or recommend to family.

We were too tired to continue driving and needed somewhere to rest/sleep. Rooms were immediately available, both smoking and non smoking. Property was small, comfortable, and safe feeling. Rates were very reasonable and the check in/out process was quick and easy (a bonus as we were exhausted.) We got a handicapped, smoking room with a queen bed. Handicapped parking immediately outside the door was very convenient. The room was clean and simple; comfortable bed, nightstands, phone, dresser, closet, and a chair (no table.) The air conditioner/heater worked great. The handicapped bathroom was spacious with a wheelchair accessible shower. The only con I experienced was the lack of communication regarding the time of check out. I thought I remembered the sign in the office read check out was at 12pm. And no time was communicated to us upon check in. There was no sign with check in/out times or emergency protocol on the inside of the room's door. Nothing listed on the electronic key, and no information of any type listed on the room's phone. We woke up at 1030am, and luckily the desk called me at 1045am and reminded me that check out was at 11, giving us 15min to get up and get on our way. We were out by 11:10a without incident. Overall, it was inexpensive, convenient, clean, and a great place for a quick overnight stay.

The best motel in the San Gabriel Valley! We stayed here between homes, as we moved out of one apartment and moved into our new home as a newly married couple. The staff is awesome!!!!

Our room was clean and everything was replaced when requested. I had randomly asked for two glasses one night when I saw the house staff and she gave me what she had available. That was good enough for me but for the remainder of our stay there were two new glasses and a bucket of ice available all the time. Funny but it's a gesture that goes a long way with me.One tip would be to sign up for their select guest membership program. It came with pretty cool perks such as free wifi and morning beverage delivery. Everyone working at this hotel is pretty amazing. The location is pretty central to everything that a tourist would be attracted too. If not, you're only a quick walk to the BART station or bus stop. It's pretty low key at night since it's in the Financial District but that was expected.

The stay itself was well worth the cost.
